The 7th edition of the Kenyan People’s Festival will take place this week with great Danish support and participation.
After a year of youth protests for democratic rights and economic opportunities in hashtag#Kenya, there is more than ever a need for platforms where young people can meet elected politicians on the ground to discuss the problems that young people are tired of in Kenya.
hashtag#udenrigsudvalget was in full swing today with a good discussion about democracy together with young Kenyans, and 30 Danish chef students showed what they have learned over the past week together with their Kenyan “colleagues”.
Knowledge sharing, democracy and sustainability are the way forward!
