The Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD-Kenya) is committed to promoting, strengthening, and safeguarding multiparty democracy in Kenya. CMD-Kenya is a collaborative platform where political parties, civic actors, strategic partners, stakeholders, and policymakers unite to foster dialogue, cooperation, and shared action. We advance multiparty democracy by encouraging meaningful political participation, promoting good governance, and championing respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms—cornerstones of social justice.
Since its establishment in March 2004, CMD-Kenya has focused on enhancing the capacity of political parties and working in partnership with civic actors, legislators, and policymakers. Together, we strive to build an inclusive, accountable, and resilient democratic framework that benefits all Kenyans.
