CMD-Kenya is a unique platform that draws its primary membership from political parties across Kenya’s multiparty spectrum, representing a commitment to collaborative, issue-based democracy. By bringing together political parties, CMD-Kenya fosters a space for dialogue and joint action to address the pressing challenges facing Kenya’s democracy. In addition to political parties, CMD-Kenya actively collaborates with key political actors, including the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal (PPDT), the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Parliament, County Assemblies, and civil society organizations. These partnerships enable CMD-Kenya to influence policy, strengthen democratic institutions, and promote accountability at every level of governance. Working with these critical stakeholders, CMD-Kenya amplifies its impact by ensuring that reforms, policies, and programs are inclusive, citizen-centred, and uphold democratic values across Kenya’s political landscape.
